The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) retains the determination she has projected since childhood.
Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) knows that when pushed, she will jump. Cleverly crafted companion scenes had Ridge telling Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) about Steffy breaking her arm when she was a child, and they were on vacation in the hills of Greece.
The point of the verbal flashback was to remind Liam that when Steffy is challenged, she will storm ahead.
Stubbornness is a trait Ridge recently referenced when speaking with his dad, Eric Forrester (John McCook). The Forrester patriarchs agreed that Steffy inherited the resolute attitude from her grandmother, the late Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery).
Eric told Ridge that Stephanie would chew Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) up and spit her out if Flannery’s character were still alive.
While Stephanie was leery of Sheila, she approached that challenge differently than Steffy did.
Devoted viewers know that Steffy is thrown off-course whenever Sheila is physically present. Steffy initially slapped her unwanted mother-in-law hard across the face during her and John Finn Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) wedding reception.
That happened after Finn introduced Sheila as his birth mother, not knowing of the intense backstory many characters present at that event shared with Brown’s notorious alter ego.
But just as fans know what it is like to go on without vital people in their life who are eventually lost, so too does Eric, Ridge, and Steffy know what it is like dealing with the Sheila threat without Stephanie present to help guide them or to take the fight to her.
Ridge went to see Liam at Spencer Publications. Unlike the visits Ridge’s son and Steffy’s older brother, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), had with Liam, Clifton’s character welcomed his one-time father-in-law.
Liam could not deny that Ridge asked honest questions and made sense when speaking about how they needed to respond to Steffy now.
The father of Steffy’s daughter, Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras Mckinlay), also said that he did not know how to handle current circumstances.
The parallel point of Ridge and Liam’s conversation was also to predict the immediate future. Steffy is teased to leave Los Angeles, California, later this week. So, she will jump out of Finn’s life because of what is happening with Sheila.
Readers of this comprehensive soap site know that Wood took to her social media account and announced that she gave birth to her fourth child, a boy whom she and her husband named Valor James Ruspoli. The actor is a mother to four sons.
Viewers sensed that developments with Sheila were creating a plot pat for Steffy to leave for a temporary period.
So, Wood’s maternity leave, which began weeks ago, and the possibility that advanced scenes may have been recorded before she left the set, imply that Steffy will exit the cliff house again. She is teased to go to Europe.
Steffy intends to protect her children from the Sheila threat and could be seen sporadically into the fall until Wood returns from leave on B&B.
