B&B Spoilers: Steffy Lies To Finn – Liam Secret A Ticking Time Bomb

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) made a decision. Neither she nor Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) was going to talk to anyone, especially their spouses, about the kisses that took place between them on two continents.

Steffy dismissed Liam kissing her shortly after he saw Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) lean in to do the same with his greatest nemesis, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson). But Steffy would not rationalize Liam kissing her a second time.

The cliff house kiss came after Liam had time to think on his return flight home to Los Angeles, California, and told Hope he wanted a divorce. Steffy believes by keeping what happened between her and Liam a secret that she will avoid marital strife.

Viewers see the setup. Steffy keeps both kisses secret and her husband learns what happened well after the fact.

The above would provoke a fierce response due to Steffy’s complicity. If she would have told John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) about the first kiss, it is possible the second one could have been prevented.

But even if Liam would have followed through and kissed his other true love in the living room where they used to live when married, Steffy would have been open with Finn. So, she is making herself look guilty for what Liam did because of the cover-up, which is often worse than the moral crime committed.

Liam can not be blamed for being out-of-sorts. What Hope did, using her free will, created an explosion in Liam’s mind.

If one is generous, Liam can be given slack for the way he reacted and how he used Steffy as a fallback in Rome, Italy. But only Liam’s apologists would explain away how he acted with intention at the cliff house.

Liam was sending a direct message to Steffy. His marriage to Hope was over and so he anticipated or expected Steffy would leave Finn and return to him.

Until Finn learns the truth from something other than Steffy’s lips, she still has time to handle cleanup on soapy aisle two, with that being the North American, east coast afternoon ending time (save a few minutes) when a coming climax scene is bound to happen.

But will Steffy break both stories or choose to believe her strategy to avoid conflict is secure?

Of course, Steffy does not control what Liam says. Considering Liam’s fragile mental state, he could blurt out what happened to Hope as a means of revenge. If that happens, or Finn learns otherwise, Steffy will be in trouble on B&B.
