B&B Spoilers: Steffy Enables Thomas?

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) saw Hope for the Future’s financials. That, along with the emotionally charged appeal her brother made, with their mother’s blessing, led Steffy to make a decision.

Citing the need to right the course, Steffy is teased to revoke Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) ouster and rehire him as HFTF’s lead designer. Eric Forrester (John McCook) and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) are present to witness another of Thomas’ seemingly endless second chances.

But along with his rehired is another implied opportunity. Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) is living at the cliff house. Fans, Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle), and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) can assume Thomas might not face a lasting consequence with his son either.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – How Long Is Long Enough?

Soap-time is different than real-time. So, Thomas’ banishment from Forrester Creations and Douglas’ custodial arrangement can be counted in weeks, or possibly a few months might be a bit longer, but not that much.

Has Thomas truly been taught a professional lesson after being booted out of FC by the Board? It does not seem like it, with viewers having witnessed Thomas tell Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) that HFTF’s new line misstep is good for him.

As for Douglas, Samiri’s character did not want to move to live with his father. He also chose to leave the stability of the cabin, where Hope and Liam generously provided him with refuge.

So, Douglas did not believe his dad had enough time to have changed. Steffy is keenly aware of that plot point and demonstrated protective instincts to date.

B&B Spoilers – Keeping Line Alive At Any Cost?

Hope might be forced to accept a situation that is more than uncomfortable. It is not that Thomas has a kooky personality and behaves in an off-putting manner.

No, he obsessively targeted Hope. She and the viewers will never forget his fall out of reality into a world where he developed a relationship with a Hope-like mannequin.

So, Thomas is not a quirky artist. He is someone who has mental health issues. Hope deserves to know that Thomas is seeing a therapist. That, along with super strict boundary lines, might provide some comfort if he again serves as her chief designer.

Hope misses Douglas. She has done nothing but cares for the boy.
