B&B Spoilers: Steffy Becomes Advocate For Hope And Thomas Romance?

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) twice changed her mind about Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) in recent months. She was on board with him being ousted from the family business before deciding he was the only designer who could save Hope for the Future.

Steffy engineered Thomas’ return to Forrester Creations, making that decision while their father and her co-Chief Executive Officer, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), was believed to be away in Europe. Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle), who was talked away from wanting Thomas back after he was, in effect, fired, was later told she could either take him back or see HFTF shut down.

So, is it hard to leap from Steffy’s rationalization to her eventually supporting Thomas and Hope’s romantic realization?

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Thomas Forrester Focused On Work

Thomas has an enlightening conversation with his longtime adversary, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), who came to the design office unannounced.

According to The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers, Liam sought out Thomas and wanted to talk with him one-on-one and man-to-man. Clifton’s character told Thomas that he wanted to believe he had changed, even acknowledging that he overreacted to seeing Hope in Thomas’ arms after the fall from the riser.

Hope’s restored lead designer assured Liam he was focused on the line and only saw Hope as a friend. As viewers know, Thomas appears to be telling the truth as this new storyline angle begins.

B&B Spoilers – Difference In Perspective Is Cool

Kudos to the writing staff for adjusting the view as this new tale unfolds. Rather than present reworked territory, where Thomas is the aggressor, Hope is being positioned as the pursuer.

The basis of Hope’s feelings is tied to Thomas’ relentless admiration and her experience of seeing her mother, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), chase men incessantly. Viewers are being asked to suspend disbelief. But that scenario can be digested if it is written believably going forward.

Steffy has been questioning Hope. Wood’s character sees the signs and feels Hope is projecting romantic interest in Thomas.

It was intriguing when Steffy cited her forever man, John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), and compared what they had to Hope and Liam. Steffy formerly saw Liam as her forever guy before grudgingly admitting Hope was Liam’s deeper love.

Maybe Thomas is Hope’s deeper love or her destiny?

Hope’s behavior will be the focus this spring rather than Thomas being under Steffy’s microscope. But one effect of that observation is that Steffy could be convinced Thomas, not Liam, is the man for Hope on B&B.
