B&B Spoilers: Showdown With Ridge-Steffy And Donna Fight For Eric

The Bold and The Beautiful (B&B) spoilers and updates tease there’ll be a showdown with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) over Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) medical wishes.

Ridge has Eric’s power of attorney, and Eric’s will may include a clause precluding life support-Steffy Forrester-Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) may fight Ridge for Eric’s life.

Ridge will be torn between filling out a do not resuscitate form, if Eric didn’t have one already, or if there is not a clause precluding extraordinary measures to prolong life.

When he collapsed, he said it was his time and he was at peace-and admonished the family to be nice to each other-but John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) presents new information.

Finn missed the gala because he was in his office at the hospital studying Eric’s medical records file to double check the diagnosis, in case there was anything other doctors missed.

Remember, Finn was the only one who questioned the forensic evidence when Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) was supposedly eaten by a bear-and he was right.

Now he’s questioning Eric’s death sentence diagnosis and has found some hope and a treatment option, that Dr. Colin Colby (Justiin Davis) and other specialists didn’t.

B & B Spoilers – Eric Forrester’s Life Is Worth A Try To Save

Eric’s loved ones, Ridge included, will worry if Eric can even hang on long enough to be treated-Ridge might push back about doing the right thing and honoring his wishes.

Perhaps Ridge has some guilt of his own because he told Thorne and Bridget Forrester (Winsor Harmon, Ashley Jones) and his children that Eric was dying, which he hadn’t wanted.

Thorne, Bridget, Steffy, Donna and others will question what the right thing is, considering Finn is giving them some hope-especially Bridget, who’s also a doctor and it makes sense to her.

It sounds like Ridge gets argumentative and Steffy and Donna stand up to him in a different type of showdown-a medical one, not a fashion one.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Steffy Forrester-Finnegan And The Rest Trust The New Information

Steffy and the rest trust the new information and treatment ideas that Finn has found, and she and Donna in particular will advocate for Eric to have a chance.

After all, does Ridge really think if Eric knew there was a chance for a treatment that would work that he’d just give up and die?

It can be presumed that the family will gang up on Ridge for Eric to have a chance to try the treatment, and perhaps even Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang)!

Ridge will make a decision but then struggle with his choice when Eric takes a turn for the worse. At that point, Finn and Bridget won’t care what the decision is, they will rush to save Eric!
