Devoted fans recall that Stephanie Forrester’s (Susan Flannery) portrait was placed in honor above the mantel for years at the Forrester mansion. Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) later wife, Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer) was also honored through an oil-based painting. That was an in-joke, with the contrast to Stephanie being stark.

She could be the female representation of Barnabas Collins (Jonathan Frid) from the arguably most unique soap opera of all-time, Dark Shadows.

Sheila has long been written as an other-worldly character. So, why not go all out and have her and possibly Bill be part of a Dark Shadowy world?

The idea of pairing these two specific characters is inspired. TPTB understood, as do soap fans, that some would be put off by the pairing. Meanwhile, light-hearted fans jumped in for the ride.

Diamont’s character ranked below Sheila as this soap opera’s greatest villain. But Bill is somewhat of an anti-hero, whereas Sheila is brilliantly deranged.

Bill told Sheila he loved her while Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) were present to witness his testimony. There were simultaneously sickened, shocked, and frightened.

The Dollar Bill persona has altered. Liam and Wyatt have no control over it, and their lives, like many others, will be negatively affected by it indefinitely on B&B.
