Lance Day (Adam Huss) was the character who appeared in 2002. Sheila said he threatened her, which was a reference to him having taken a payoff to drug Amber Forrester (Adrienne Frantz).
Sheila had him commit that crime because she wanted to split Amber and Rick Forrester (then played by Justin Torkildsen), who Mary Warwick, also known as Erica Lovejoy (Courtnee Draper), wanted to be with. Mary is Sheila’s child with Dr. James Warwick (Ian Buchanan).
Sheila told Bill that she knew Lance was allergic to bees. She admitted to purposely putting bees into a room where Lance was and doing nothing as he begged for help and died.
One of the more infamous and hilarious scenes in the long history of Brown’s character involved her connection with a psychiatrist, Dr. Warwick, to who she was married in the late-1990s. He was memorably held on a rack in the basement of her home, which was part of a Universal studios set.
That tidbit was provided by Ken Hanes (Mike Guthrie) on an episode of B&B’s streaming show Bold Live, hosted by executive producer Casey Kasprzyk.
Mike’s early appearances included helping Sheila hold James hostage. James was friends with a fellow psychiatrist, Dr. Jay Garvin (Brett Stimely), who Sheila admitted to accidentally pushing off a balcony to his death.
James and Sheila’s child, Mary, was referenced when Brown’s character reappeared in Los Angeles, California in 2017. Sheila’s stay from then until 2018 was far less dramatic than her most recent return, which began in 2021.
Eric Forrester (John McCormick) requested James’ help examining Sheila, who was hurt after fighting with Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer). James was compromised because Sheila learned from Mary that he was addicted to painkillers and wrote prescriptions for himself which, if revealed, would have cost him his license. So, Buchanan’s character did not tell Eric the truth about Sheila’s recovery time frame.
One of Sheila’s other children, John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), was enjoying some alone time with his wife in Forrester Creations executive suite while high drama was playing out at the Spencer mansion. Finn’s conversation with Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) was telling.
The Finnegans were engaged in romance but did allow time for discussion about Bill and Sheila. Finn told Steffy that he expected Sheila to eventually be handled. Fans have to wonder how Finn will be written into the unfolding drama as a simple arrest seems unlikely.
Sheila rushed to meet with Deacon after Bill’s engagement offer. She was overwhelmed. But Deacon calmed her down, convincing Sheila that she must have made the same impact on Bill as she did on him.
While Sheila did challenge Bill upon her return, he responded masterfully, and she put on the ring. Her admissions followed while Sheila and her fiance sat face-to-face on the couch.
However, Sheila told Deacon on repeated occasions that she would never be behind bars again. Sheila seems primed to escape imminent justice or meet her eternal fate if that prediction proves true on B&B.
