B&B Spoilers: Selfish Liam Cares About Himself, Pushes Hope In Thomas’ Direction

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers document that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) recently told Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) that she wants to continue their romantic relationship. He was powerless to fight her decision, as viewers witnessed.

Meanwhile, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) has forced his mind in a direction away from his wife. Viewers assume the divorce paperwork Hope paid for and they both signed has since been filed but no dialogue has confirmed that plot point.

Steffy Forrester Finnegan’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) fear of Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) created three decisions. She moved to her grandfather’s, Eric Forrester (John McCook), home, then back to the cliff house, and has since left for Rome, Italy.

Liam was deeply opposed to Hope allowing Thomas to attend what could be cheekily described as the Forrester fashion junket. But Hope told Liam that Atkinson’s character was going to be in Rome with her.

Thomas’ return to Hope for the Future revived the floundering line. Gratitude abounded at FC, with Hope being the most grateful.

However, the encouragement Liam received caused him to fly to Rome and join Hope. He did not arrive in time to see the fashion event or the celebratory press conference but witnessed an eyeful with the Coliseum as the backdrop.

B&B Spoilers – Hope Spencer Picked The Only Wrong Man?

Liam told his brother and father, Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) and Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), that he would not feel as he does about Hope if the man she picked was anyone but Thomas. Really?

That line was not logical but instead is illogical which is not surprising. Liam so often wronged Hope that he appears incapable of offering her forgiveness.

Is there any doubt that Liam would have played the infinite victim if Hope had become involved with someone other than Thomas? Consider for a moment if Wyatt was the man she kissed in Rome or wherever.

Liam would have been enraged if Hope used her ex-husband and his brother to prop her up emotionally, as she is doing with Thomas.

Liam tracked John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) into the courtroom hallway following Sheila’s stunning legal clear. Clifton’s character did that because he suspected him.

Finn has never truly been trusted by Liam. How could he be, considering Finn replaced Liam in Steffy’s heart?

So, sensing opportunity, Liam secretly recorded Finn, rather than call out when he returned Sheila’s embrace.

That was calculated to make Finn look bad in Steffy’s eyes and was done by a guy who did not have Hope on his mind. He still does not, and Hope feels that on B&B.
