B&B Spoilers: RJ Grabs The Spotlight – Thomas Deals With Reduced Attention

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers document that RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) is back from his tour of the world. His dad, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), mentioned that he is a social media influencer which was a wink to the audience about the recast’s updated backstory.

Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) is Ridge’s oldest son and Forrester Creations’ returned lead designer for Hope for the Future. Thomas is used to being the center of attention, with most conversations involving endless references to his misdeeds and latest pursuits of redemption.

RJ does not return with anywhere near the baggage his brother carries. Hoffman’s character also loves his mother, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), who does not trust Thomas.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – The Forrester Family Seeks Unity

The Forrester family has endured tremendous strife in recent months. Ridge and Brooke’s eighth failed marriage was coupled with his attempt to remarry Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen). Their intended remarriage flopped on the wedding day because of Taylor not telling Ridge she learned Thomas framed Brooke.

Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) nearly took the life of Ridge and Taylor’s surviving fraternal twin daughter, Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). But she survived and is teased to confront the Forrester family’s thankfully incarcerated nemesis in the prison visitor’s room shortly.

RJ’s return offers Ridge. Brooke, Steffy, and Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) have a chance to enjoy some upbeat family time.

Ridge wants to reconcile with Brooke. But she is currently committed to not being with him. The pact she formed with her new confidant, Taylor, is sticking, much to Ridge’s surprise and chagrin.

RJ’s return to Los Angeles, California, after having been away since Anthony Turpel (RJ from 2016 to 2018) embodied the role, providing Ridge and Brooke with an unexpected opportunity to share more time than they were planning.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Thomas Forrester Keeps Himself In Check?

Thomas has been doing well. He is serious about personal reform, as best proven by his regularly seeing a therapist his mother referred him to.

Atkinson’s character does not have obsessive thoughts about Hope. But, as viewers know and Steffy and Brooke suspect, Hope has developed or recognized romantic feelings for him.

RJ’s reemergence opens multiple storyline paths for Hoffman to play and for the connected characters his alter ego is tied to on B&B.
