RJ just wants to have some down time with his fam but if his dad has his way he’s destined to follow in the Dressmaker’s footsteps! But this will come with a cost, as most good things in life do.

RJ is a creative there’s no doubt about that. He is an artist and being back home his dad Ridge is applying the pressure for Junior to follow in his footsteps. This is the perfect setup to match Ridge’s two brothers from different mothers against each other!

Troubled Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) is on his umpteenth chance at Forrester Creations, while RJ has none of the baggage and maybe all of the talent to boot. Will RJ’s designs be better than Thomas’s and if so what are the major consequences?

Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) is risking her marriage by agreeing to work again with Thomas. If RJ is that good, she might 86 Thomas in favor of RJ who she has no bad blood with, unlike her and Thomas.

At the very least she could add him as a new designer on Hope for the Future, sparking some competition between RJ and Thomas who already have some beef between them.

If RJ has any role in HFTF it could put Thomas on the defensive and we all know how he responds to pressure—volcanic outburst!

Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) is all kinds of suspicious of Thomas so he might back RJ’s contribution and promote his BIL’s participation in the line. But this favoritism could backfire if Thomas perceives RJ as a threat.

Regardless of how things do or don’t play out between RJ and Thomas, brothers from different mothers, his influencer background and creative DNA could be just what the Hope For the Future line needs.
