B&B Spoilers: Ridge Sadly Comes To Terms With His Father’s Dying

The Bold and The Beautiful (B&B) spoilers and updates tease Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will sadly come to terms with Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) dying. Ridge, as well as all other family members who now know, haven’t been wanting to believe it’s real-but unfortunately, it looks like it is.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – A Form Of Denial

Ridge has been as much in denial that Eric could really be dying as Eric has that he needs to slow down-and that Ridge was pushing him out of the company.

Nothing could have been further from the truth, but when Eric challenged Ridge, he took on the challenge with all four burners-until he found out the truth.

RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) had been helping Eric design, at Eric’s request, but when he found out his grandfather was dying, he couldn’t hold the secret in.

That’s when Ridge and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) found out what was really going on with Eric. And both of them have been in shock ever since-and Ridge told his grown children who are also grieved, as Brooke told her daughter.

B & B Spoilers – No Wonder He Called It His Grand Finale

Ridge thought maybe Eric was kind of in a late middle age crisis, and had to prove something to himself and others, especially Ridge, that he still had what it took.

He realizes now that the reason Eric called this couture line his grand finale is because that’s what it was-his last ever couture line.

Ridge can barely believe that Eric doesn’t want anyone to know, as if an illness that’s none of his fault could cause him shame.

Ridge learns from RJ and Donna Logan (Jennifer Garies) that Eric doesn’t want any pity, and his pride that won’t allow him to lean on others in his time of need.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Determined To Make His Dad’s Last Days Happy

Ridge is determined to make his dad’s last days, weeks, months, however long he has, happy and as carefree as possible. But it’s very difficult for all of them who love Eric and are around him to not let on that they know of his illness.

RJ was supposed to keep it a secret, as was Donna, but Katie Logan (Heather Tom) accidentally found out and RJ couldn’t handle the secret.

Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) was told out of necessity when he questioned Ridge handing the win of the fashion challenge to Eric.

Coming to terms with such a legend dying and him being his father is almost too much for Ridge to handle!
