The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) was surprised to see Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) fighting in his office. Plenty of non-work drama plays out in the setting.

So, the verbal banter and fray were not unusual. However, Brooke and Taylor made a big, loud deal about burying the hatchet in the recent past.

They forcefully told their mutual love whatever decisions he made about his feelings did not matter to them. Brooke chose herself, and Taylor did the same. That was the thin logic which propelled what became a short-lived friendship that Ridge predicted.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Ridge Forrester Has Frostbite

A guy can get frostbite in the mild climate of Los Angeles, California. That was true for Ridge. He was frozen-out by the two greatest loves of his life.

Ridge chose to believe that Thomas‘ hoax about Brooke having reported him to Child Services for endangering Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri). That alienated him from Brooke.

Kaye’s character also tracked Taylor down in Aspen, Colorado, pledged his love to her forever, and backed out of their remarriage. Alienation number two resulted.

B&B Spoilers – Brooke Logan Believes She Is Number One

Brooke believes in what she calls destiny. Ridge is not so sure of that terminology at this point in her most recent attempt to reconcile with him.

He is wondering if she is falling into a comfortable pattern, where they are all lovey-dovey, split for one of a million reasons, feel lonely, and then re-couple. Brooke says no.

The audience understands the complicated relationship that Brooke and Ridge have developed over all these soapy years. She still projects as his number one, as reinforced by his wanting to talk with Brooke first after her disrupted fight with Taylor.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Taylor Hayes Did Not Make Smart Moves

Taylor, like her ex-friend or never-friend Brooke, now admits to never not wanting Ridge. But Allen’s character put herself in a terrible position because she broke from the calm stance that separated her from Brooke’s drama.

Ridge appeared to be drawn to Taylor’s sweetness because it was the opposite of Brooke’s bold behavior. But if Ridge has soured on Taylor, then Brooke looks more appealing than ever or at least that’s what Lang’s character is counting on him to realize on B&B.
