Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) decided that Ridge’s failure to remarry Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) did not mean she would remarry him. That sobering reality was believed to have sent Ridge packing for Europe earlier this year.

Of course, Ridge was not lamenting the past at Forrester Creations in France or that general geographic area. Instead, he was in a basement helping the government with a sting operation that caught Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown).

Bill was the hero in that storyline, as Ridge has proudly repeated. Ridge is surprised by his eight-time wife’s friendship with Taylor.

They bonded after deciding Ridge was stupid and the reason for their rivalry. Fans noted that both ladies shifted blame from themselves in a history rewrite to the highest extent.

B&B Spoilers – Taylor Hayes Was In The Wrong

In terms of accurate history, Taylor became aware that her immature son, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), framed Brooke for reporting him to Child Services.

Taylor chose not to process that reveal because she was moments away from remarrying Ridge. She was wrong on that plot point.

The long-awaited remarriage ceremony was years in the making. Ridge’s constant backslides toward Brooke, after that dysfunctional pairing’s ongoing breaks, were unhealthy for either person. Brooke was not the only injured party.

Taylor waited for years to see if Ridge would take her back. She was connected to other men but could never deny that Ridge was her true love.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Ridge Forrester Needs To Be Smart

Ridge, Brooke, and Taylor are all responsible for the triangle they created and sustained. On the upside, they have children and grandchildren that allow their life’s legacies to endure.

Kudos to TPTB for aligning Ridge and Bill and Brooke and Taylor. These unlikely alliances make for great soap, and it will be interesting to see if one or both duos persist on B&B.
