B&B Spoilers: Luna’s Mother Poppy Arrives To Stir The Pot

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) is a new intern at Forrester Creations, and soon her mother Poppy (Romy Park) will join her in LA. It’s a safe bet that Poppy was the person fans heard warning Luna to stay away from the Forresters during a recent phone call.

During the week of October 2-6, the show’s casting credits listed Romy Park and in the October 4 episode talked to RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) about her mom.

The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers – RJ Forrester Learned More About Luna Nozawa

Luna described her and her mom as being alike in terms of being creative types and free spirits. She also talked about her aunt, who we presume is Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda), as being the exact opposite.

Luna intimated that her aunt was a Type A overachiever and that fits Li who is a doctor and more than fierce when it comes to her personal life.

Luna also indicated that her mom was a hippie type, and so maybe the name Poppy is not her given name, but one she took to indicate her spontaneous, breezy nature.

Interestingly enough, Li and Poppy have one significant thing in common, and that is that they are very invested in their kids’ lives and have no trouble telling them how to live them.

At the moment Li is warning her son John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) that he needs to stay away from his bio mom Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown).

B&B Spoilers – Who Is Poppy?

Romy Park’s credits include Ghost Whisperer and Eleventh Hour, and it seems a sure bet that her B&B character will bring drama to the LA-based sudser.

It’s clear that Luna’s mom doesn’t want her anywhere near the Forresters, yet she is working for them and seems to have a thing for RJ.

Luna’s mom will have her work cut out for her if she intends to reverse the course of Luna’s Forrester obsession. And, if she and Li are sisters, it seems that these two opposites will clash, based on Luna’s description of her family members.

Because these are new characters, the show has complete freedom to create an outrageous backstory that brings lots of drama and spectacle to the screen.

It’s not the first time in recent memory that TPTB introduced a new family to feed off the Forrester storylines. Remember the Buckingham family?

Today Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) is the sole survivor onscreen of that family, and the show has dropped the ball with her. Will B&B be more successful with Luna? Time will tell.
