The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers document that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) wants a divorce. He can not get past Hope Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) betrayal even though Liam betrayed his wife’s trust on multiple occasions in the past.

The difference between Hope kissing Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and all that Liam is arguably not even comparable.

Clifton’s character repeatedly reconnected with Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), who was his multiple-time wife. Thomas was only Hope’s husband once and that was in name only as Liam certainly understands.

Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) had no idea what, or should we say who, she would find at Thomas’ inviting new home. Hope did not anticipate her mother catching her and Thomas like two high-schoolers found out by one of their parents.

The discovery created a verbal lashing. The scolding this apparent new pairing received quickens the storyline, as Hope and Thomas were prevented from telling others about their togetherness.

Lang’s character now gets to set the terms of who learns about them, when, and how. Viewers wonder when Liam will become part of that list.

Hope decided Liam did not respect her ability to separate work and personal business. She has not admitted that Liam’s instincts were right.

In Hope’s mind, Liam is still in love with Steffy. That is true but not in the way Hope thinks. Plus, Noelle’s character did not catch Liam kissing Steffy, though that happened after the incident that set Clifton’s character off.

Thomas’ devotion to Hope was widely known. But her consistent rejection made his love unrequited and caused everyone, starting with Liam, to tag Thomas as the problem. Hope sees him as that no more.

Hardcore audience members recall Steffy had to tell Liam to leave her and return to Hope. Liam stayed with Hope ever since.

However, Steffy was shocked when Liam kissed her twice, once in Rome, Italy, and then at the cliff house. She told him to return to his wife again after the second incident, no longer being able to justify Liam’s actions as an impulse.

With Hope’s loyalty lost and Steffy sending him away, Liam has no place to go. That makes fans wonder what will happen to him next on B&B.
