People within this ever-suspicious world of Los Angeles, California, appoint themselves as champions of subjective justice. As is typically the case, Liam is doing so based on his overly analytical view of reality that includes insecurities about being a better husband to Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).

Liam could not know what it is like to be Sheila’s biological child. He was not present during those times, including Finn’s most recent visit to the jail when Sheila bared her soul.

In Liam’s mind, he was the judge ruling on Finn’s behavior. The guilty ruling must be relayed to Steffy through video evidence.

Liam wants to stir trouble, not calm it. Even considering the shock of the moment, Liam could have gone to Finn and broken the hold he and Sheila had on each other by questioning it.

Alternatively, Liam could have waited and talked with Finn in the hallway. But instead, he secretly captured video that will be used as a weapon to impose justice.

As is true of others in this soapy world, Liam’s unstable mind drove what he did. He has marital problems and wants to show Steffy that she does as well.

Those whose minds are unsettled seek to destabilize others in this Californian society, rather than recognize and deal with their problems.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – But Steffy Forrester Finnegan Does Deserve To Know

It could be argued, by a nicely paid lawyer, that Liam is helping the mother of his oldest child, Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras Mckinlay). Steffy should know that Finn feels some form of bond with Sheila.

The Forrester family has far more experience dealing with Sheila than Finn. So, Steffy’s awareness of Finn’s conflicted feelings can help her protect her husband from this incomparable manipulator.

However, Liam appears to be choosing the most destructive path to helping Steffy see the daytime light. His instant divorce from Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) is the emotional factor that is plausibly causing him to strike at Finn on B&B.
