The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) gives his fidgety son-in-law Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) some advice concerning his marriage to Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle). Liam is freaking out (that’s an understatement) that Hope and her former stalker Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) are going to Rome together. It’s for business and they will be surrounded by friends and family and FC employees but Liam can’t stop thinking the worst.

Deacon was once shady himself, but now he owns Il Giardino and might give Wolfgang Puck a run in the pizza franchise department. But while Liam believes in Deacon’s transformation, he refuses to believe that Thomas can change his spots.

Liam is his own worst enemy, but in this case his Spidey sense is partially correct. He is right to worry about Tope but he can’t see that it is Hope who is the one feeling all kinds of inappropriate urges. Nonetheless Liam confides in Deacon about what is troubling him.

It’s not clear exactly what Deacon tells Liam, but he could indicate that Liam should be by his wife’s side in order to support her and to see for himself that there is nothing to worry about.

Deacon might think that the only way Liam can function is to be in Rome with the rest of the gang because he is unable to let this go and it is eating him up inside. But if Deacon spurs Liam to race after his wife, his words could have the opposite effect and actually detonate Lope’s world!
