B&B Spoilers: Liam In A Bad Position – Hope Has No Room For Error

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) is back where he started. Rather than being rid of Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) has again let him back into their lives.

Liam was flabbergasted to hear Hope say she changed her mind. Their tense conversation at the cabin, before her reversal the next day, appeared to resolve the issue.

Hope told Liam she would not let Thomas regain his lead designer role at Forrester Creations. But Steffy Forrester Finnegan’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) ultimatum, Brooke Logan’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) lack of forceful opposition, and Thomas’ charm turned Hope’s head.

Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) and Brooke are friends. That would be the most preposterous happening in another B&B year. But not this one.

Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) and Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) revealed alliance against Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) easily ranks with one of the greater soapy shoe-drops in recent show history.

The genuine friendship Taylor formed with Brooke, during what they believe is Ridge’s extended reset in Europe, served to blunt what would have been a normal reaction. Brooke did not loudly oppose Thomas’ return. Without that support, Hope was left to her own devices, deciding that he had changed this time.

B&B Spoilers – Hope Spencer Refuses To Abandon Fashion Line

Hope is attempting to balance her personal life and work life. Thomas is back in both. Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) was allowed, per Thomas’ encouragement, to set his living arrangements. As the judge said, while unusual, there is precedent for other adults doing the same.

Thomas deferred responsibility to his child, and Hope went along with it. It was an arguably weak moment in the storyline because it enabled the drama to play out.

Along with the above, Hope’s quick change of heart can not be easily coupled with her desire to see Hope for the Future continue. She never told Steffy that a designer search should be conducted but went along with the Thomas-only option.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Liam Spencer Will See The Truth

The truth is not that Hope is in love with Thomas. But, as Steffy is realizing, Hope is fond of Thomas. There is room for Hope and Thomas’ co-parenting and revived workplace collaboration to develop into romance. Liam is bound to pick up on what Steffy sees. Believable drama will happen at that point in the plot on B&B.
