B&B Spoilers: Liam Has No Plan – Will His Mistake Be Reversed This Summer?

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers document that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) made a rash choice when he walked out of the cabin after confronting his wife. Then he made a misguided decision after returning the next day and telling Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) that he wanted a divorce. Seeing Hope kissing Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) was mind-bending. But having two brief, intense conversations with her did not provide enough information to make a life-changing decision.

Viewers noticed that Liam gave Hope no room for the egregious error she made. Clifton’s character also perceived that whatever feelings she has for Thomas are greater than those for him.

It was satisfying to see the contrast between Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) reconnecting and Hope and Liam falling apart.

Kudos to TPTB for creating those divergent climaxes in the memorable location shoot setting of Rome, Italy. The worldwide pandemic prevented B&B from shooting outside of the United States in recent years, with the Italian shoot restarting this soap’s history of terrific destination events.

Liam’s late realization, that he needed to support his wife, was fully undercut by the visual betrayal he witnessed. That deepened his resolve in ways it might otherwise not have.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Hope Spencer Feels Pushed Into Thomas Forrester’s Arms?

Hope appears to have subconsciously sensed a disconnect with Liam in recent months. Beyond their disagreement regarding Thomas’ rehire, Hope told her husband that she was tired of him not trusting her judgment.

All those battles Hope had with Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) over Liam were not resolved as the three parties have come to see.

Liam’s admission to Hope, that he was not thinking about Steffy, concealed the kisses he gave to her in Rome and Los Angeles, California.

But Liam also told Hope that he was thinking about Steffy now. He said that knowing Wood’s character told him her marriage was solid and he should resolve his problems with Hope.

Simple math has Liam impulsively erasing Hope from his life. Subtract Steffy as a fallback option, and Liam has no one to turn to.

So, unless Liam eventually decides to reverse his mistake, in not even trying to reconcile, and Steffy remains with John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), Clifton’s character will be a bachelor for the foreseeable future.

Fans know Finn has yet to learn Steffy is withholding the information about Liam kissing her. So, maybe Liam will eventually be on Steffy’s mind, or he will find a new woman to love as soon as this summer on B&B.
