While he was not expected to be in Europe, Liam’s last-minute decision caused him to be positioned at just the right angle where he spotted Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) kissing Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson).

Liam said that Hope kissing his nemesis was unforgivable. But her doing the same with any man would also have represented a betrayal.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Why Thomas Forrester Now?

Thomas relentlessly pursued Hope for years after he returned from New York, following Caroline Spencer’s (Lindsey Godfrey) death. It was best for him and Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) to move back to Los Angeles, California, because they needed support.

But Thomas coupled that decision with believing Hope projected as an ideal replacement for Caroline. The recast character Atkinson has portrayed since 2019 also used Douglas to open a personal connection with Hope.

Hope knows Thomas exploited Douglas and repeatedly violated her trust. He undermined her marriage at every turn until finally reforming earlier this year. So, to kiss him in Rome was wrong on many levels.

B&B Spoilers – Liam Spencer Leaves For Good?

While Liam’s teased decision to break from Hope will leave her reeling, the potential for repair will exist. After processing what happened and receiving eventual support from her mother and others, Hope will likely try to pursue reconciliation.

But if Liam decides they have irreconcilable differences, Hope will need to change her life. She will need to first address where the children will live and how she and Liam will care for Beth Spencer (Jordyn Lynn Ariza).

The potential end of her marriage with Liam will change everything for Hope. Fans can assume that would mean moving on to Thomas.
