Fans took to the thread to talk about this theory. One argued that Liam feels that as long as Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is married to Finn, Sheila will never them alone. Sheila desperately wants Finn in her life. He is currently the object of her obsession.

The only reason why Liam inserted himself into Steffy and Finn’s marriage is because he’s still in love with Steffy. He feels that she would be better off with him. He’s using this situation to ruin their marriage.

Liam doesn’t even care that Sheila’s engaged to Deacon. Even though he acts like a hero, he can’t even protect himself. There is no way that he can protect Steffy from Sheila better than Finn can. He hasn’t done anything to show that he can.
