B&B Spoilers: Li Tries To Bring Finn To His Senses, But He See Sheila As A Hero!

The Bold and The Beautiful (B&B) spoilers and updates tease Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) will try to set John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) straight, but she’ll have a hard road ahead.

Finn can’t seem to get Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) heroism saving Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay) out of his head-or his bond to his birth mother out of his heart.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Li Finnegan Is Determined – Does He Need Therapy?

Li is determined to break this “bond” that could not and should not have formed between Finn and his birth mother, because he was adopted as a baby.

There could not be a maternal bond between a newborn taken from his birth mother and said baby as a thirty-something year old grown man, even though Sheila nursed him.

After trying to run Li off the road to her presumed death, Sheila was kind of stuck with either nursing a barely awake Finn to health or letting him die.

Li knows that the bond was definitely not formed then because all Finn wanted was to look for his now-estranged wife Steffy Forrester-Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) in Monaco.

Back then, he exhibited a healthy dose of hatred for the psycho who gave birth to him after having an affair with Li’s husband Jack Finnegan (Ted King).

B & B Spoilers – This “Bond” Is Abnormal, Can Li Finnegan Break It?

Li knows this “bond” is abnormal, and he should feel this bond with her-but for some reason, he claims he’s never felt it with her, and that makes no sense whatsoever.

Sheila may be many things but she’s never been known to brainwash any of her victims or she’d have done it before now-it would have been a convenient weapon.

Li knows Sheila wouldn’t have had an opportunity to brainwash the judge at her trial, if she’d known how-Li is wracking her brain on how to break this false bond.

It is simply mind-boggling how Sheila supposedly saving Kelly from drowning could have changed his view-how does he know if he hadn’t turned around that she wouldn’t have snatched her?

Li read all the baby care books on how to be a mother and about the parental bond that is nurtured between a parent and a child, this makes no sense.

No amount of reasoning with Finn or showing him in the pediatric journals about bonding between adoptive babies and parents can convince him – he only knows what he feels. He doesn’t understand why or why it came on so suddenly-was it buried deep in his subconscious?

Or has he been in denial and faking the bond with Li-she’s getting nowhere trying to set him straight on who his bond should be with-her, not psycho Sheila!

Li thinks about asking the psychiatric department for a referral for Finn for a hypnosis to see if that would help. Would it at least reveal a reason why this inappropriate bond occurred-Finn’s at least willing to try it.
