B&B Spoilers: Li Capable Of Getting Through To Bill? – Finn Defends Finnegan Family

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers document that Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) miraculously saved herself after Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) tried to kill her. Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), of all the characters in the cast, was specifically written into a scenario where he found Li at the wharf. That event has to have legs beyond that plot point.

Why have Bill find Li, bring her to his house, and help her regain mental clarity if not to use that bond now? Sheila has exerted some otherworldly form of control over Bill. As long as that exists, he will do her bidding and be a threat to the Finnegan family.

Li projected as Bill’s next great love, never Sheila. Yet, Brown’s amazingly resilient character lives with Bill in his mansion and owes her freedom to his demonstrated power to influence society in this version of Los Angeles, California.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Sheila Carter Wants Family Bond

Sheila was never leaving LA. She told Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) that her son and grandson lived in that portion of California, and she was determined to have a connection with them.

Deacon believed the plan Sheila said she would exact in 2023 was pie in the soapy sky. Yet, she delivered in a fashion, with a wink to the industry this show is based on, that he and no one else, including Bill, could have predicted.

Blackmail was the weapon of choice Bill used when telling Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) she would not testify against Sheila. Finn was told the same, with Sheila reminding him that Li broke laws when he was assumed dead.

B&B Spoilers – Li Finnegan Occupies A Unique Position

Li was the only mother Finn ever knew. Novlan’s character was aware he was adopted but never had curiosity about his birth mother.

Everything shifted forever when Sheila walked from the shadows of the Forrester mansion guest house and revealed herself to Finn as his mom. That wedding day event proved momentous in ways Finn could not have imagined.

Sheila instantly became Li’s nemesis through the follow-up reveal about Jack Finnegan (Ted King) having a relationship with Sheila and her having Finn. Sheila’s brutal attack on Li, while she was caring for Finn following Sheila’s shooting, and her attempt to run her off the road to her watery death means that Matsuda’s character is uniquely motivated to fight Sheila.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Bill Spencer Wants John Finn Finnegan To Forgive

Finn recently sternly told Sheila she would have no contact with his family. Bill’s teased conversation with Finn renews tensions.

But Bill’s talk with Finn can easily be coupled with a reminder that he still holds blackmail cards. There is no expiration date on that manipulation, with Sheila’s feelings being one of Bill’s top priorities on B&B.
