The sight of Bill entering the cliff house after Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) shocked Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) was chilling. It was not the man who tried to better himself or Dollar Bill. Diamont was playing a third version of his legacy B&B character.

Katie could not enable Bill’s behavior any longer. So, she refused to reconcile with him in the recent past, which included him kissing Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) in the cabin.

Bill degraded Katie by repeatedly making promises about their relationship and broke them. She eventually had enough and chose to cut him off for an extended period.

Tom’s character agreed to meet with Bill on multiple occasions this fall and told him a reconciliation was not happening.

Bill is lonely. That was reconfirmed after he asked Brooke to get back together at her mansion, and she declined. He made the same pitch to Katie minutes after she entered her sister’s home.

Sheila came into contact with Bill recently and convinced him that an alliance was best for both parties. While Bill is in the antagonist category, he is nowhere near the type of villain that Sheila has long been.

Brown’s character has committed a series of criminal offenses that place her head and shoulders above Bill. But her powers of persuasion are strong, and she has overwhelmed his senses or at least has done so at this point in the plot.

Bill can not crash into the rabbit hole he voluntarily entered. Diamont’s alter ego is a main character. Brown’s persona is this show’s greatest villain, but longtime fans know that her pattern is to appear and disappear.

Sheila has created a remarkable comeback. She is teased to be arrested shortly. Whether the charges stick, and she is imprisoned for shooting Steffy and Finn will soon be seen.

Inserting Bill into this equation is stunning and compelling. Few honestly saw this coming, with the storyline’s outcome being unpredictable on B&B.
