The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Eric Forrester (John McCook) may have just taken his final breath on the CBS soap.  But, Hayes Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) are on the scene and ready to put their careers on the line to save the patriarch.

Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) has to be campaigning for Son Of The Year.  Since learning his father was deathly ill, Ridge threw the fashion competition and agreed to every single one of Eric’s demands and final wishes.

If Eric was showing signs of confusion and dementia, why didn’t Ridge insist on getting a second opinion rather than agreeing to his father’s wishes?

According to B&B spoilers, Finn and Bridget put their heads together and figure out a way to save Eric.

If Ridge had shared the news about Eric’s illness when he first found out, could Bridget and Finn have helped sooner?

The Bold and the Beautiful viewers know Steffy didn’t ask Finn for help right away, because they had all been sworn to secrecy.

It’s not clear why Ridge didn’t think of contacting Eric’s daughter Bridget, who is a doctor, ASAP.

Thorne Forrester (Winsor Harmon) is home as well.  More than likely the first thing he is going to demand is a second opinion.  Any logical person would do the same, and it’s baffling why Ridge agreed with his father not to.

Whether or not Eric Forrester pulls through, the events transpiring right now are going to cause some serious rifts in the Forrester Family for years to come.
