She became very attracted to him in recent months. Being his longtime muse, all Thomas needed to do was stop his relentless pursuit of her and focus on keeping himself on the level, which he had done.

Meanwhile, RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) has become the apple of Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) eye.

RJ began designing at the foot of his grandfather, with their collaborative new line set to rival what Thomas and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) are producing.

Eric said to let Ridge know that he is coming for him. Brooke took that message and relayed it to her longtime love, as Eric asked.

Ridge was surprised that his dad would think he was trying to push him out of Forrester Creations. But the more Ridge talks, the more he confirms that Eric is right.

It is not that Ridge wants Eric to move to a cave. However, he is not open to his father’s design and does not want him to be involved in serious business decisions.

Eric wanted to produce a new line and initially began talking with Ridge about it. McCook’s character would have liked to work with Ridge on what he intends as his last line.

But Ridge responded by telling Eric to relax and enjoy retirement. Kaye’s character is designing and running the day-to-day affairs at the company’s home base in Los Angeles, California by himself.

The stress Ridge is exhibiting is partially due to Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) needing to leave town because of the threat she feels Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) again represents.

Eric’s demeanor is unusual because he has not projected that attitude in recent years after passing the baton to Ridge and Steffy.

B&B Spoilers – Thomas Forrester Sees Both Sides

Thomas is grateful that his father let him have a second chance. So, he remains on his best behavior and wants to keep the family peace.

Ridge did hear Thomas say that he understood where Eric was coming from. But Atkinson’s character does not know that Ridge believes RJ has the most talent.

That comment was shared with Brooke and included Ridge not wanting Thomas to know his thoughts.

Early impressions of the designs RJ and Eric are creating are very encouraging. So, Eric will make his new line become a reality.

That will elevate RJ to prominence within the family and the fashion world. How Thomas responds to that may test his redemption efforts on B&B.
