The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers document that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) concluded that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) loved Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) more than her. She also believed Liam used a standard he did not apply to himself.

The result of Hope’s realization is that she made a play for Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) in Rome, Italy.

The Forrester family’s history with Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) would have been enough to justify Steffy’s decision to take the children and leave the cliff house.

But Sheila shot Finn while trying to shoot Steffy and then ensured that her second shot hit the first mark.

Finn is rationalizing his birth mother’s criminal actions not overshadowing her rescue of Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras Mckinlay).

B&B Spoilers – Liam Spencer Stands With Other Ex-Wife

This is daytime, so clarification is worthwhile. The subject header reference to Liam’s other ex-wife refers to Steffy not Hope.

Finn’s confrontation with Liam at Spencer Publications was telegraphed when Novlan’s character told Steffy that her ex-husband was the cause of their problems.

Finn’s mental deflection reaffirmed Steffy’s recognition that he is not thinking straight.

If Kelly was not involved in the current storyline, Finn would have a much stronger point. With whatever Liam’s feelings or future hopes, his first concern is protecting his child, Kelly, from Sheila. Finn believes Liam is using Kelly as a tool to manipulate Steffy’s opinion.

Hope practiced deflection when Liam confronted her about kissing Thomas. She shifted the subject to a speculative one that involved Steffy.

Noelle’s character believes she has always been Liam’s runner-up. Then, within a matter of time that can be counted in days, Liam offers himself to Steffy as her protector against Sheila and by default, Finn.

Predicting that Liam would seek a reunion with Steffy was not hard because that is his pattern.

Any arguments made in favor of Liam’s loyalty to Hope will be contrasted with his current actions, as Hope just predicted on B&B.
