The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers document that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) could not control her impulse. The thrill of the fashion show’s success and the aura of Rome, Italy, combined to make Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) the recipient of her unbridled joy.

The odds of Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) finding Hope on the Roman streets were low. But not only did he do that, but Liam also happened to be perfectly positioned, at a purposeful distance, to see his wife kissing Thomas.

Viewers were taken on a ride through the beautiful location setting. They anticipated Liam would catch Hope, and that would fuel the all-connected characters’ next great arc.

Thomas promised he would remain on his best behavior, like a child who seeks forgiveness from his parents. Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) forgave her brother for the umpteenth time and greenlighted his rehire.

Hope’s work world was disrupted when Thomas was fired. But her home life improved because Liam was relieved.

However, similar to Steffy, Hope was compelled to overlook Thomas’ misdeeds because she needed his talent. Well, Thomas surely delivered on his promise by creating his arguably best designs ever.

If someone is committed to her spouse, she does not develop feelings for another man and then acts upon them. But that is what Hope did.

Comparing whatever Liam did in the past with Steffy, during the period when they and Hope were caught in a love triangle, does not justify what Noelle’s character did. Just as Liam used his free will to betray Hope and Steffy at various points in the past, so too did Hope betray Liam now.

The intensity of pressure Thomas applied to Hope in recent years made an impact. His turnaround also has turned her head.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – What Does Liam Spencer Do Now?

After he digests this previously unthinkable event, Liam will have a decision to make. Hope forgave him many times in the past.

So, will Liam be able to offer his wife the same level of compassion that she did?

Viewers know not to assume this is the end for Liam and Hope. Sure, he will confront her about what happened, and she will not be able to offer a legitimate explanation. But they are not destined to split and even if they do, much drama seems likely to play out between now and then on B&B.
