Hope’s mom Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) has just learned of Eric’s diagnosis and she could be the one to tell Hope of the situation.

Brooke is distraught about Eric and may need someone to talk to since her partner Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) already knows the truth.

At the same time Ridge is confronting the premature loss of his father and mentor, with Brooke trying her best to help him navigate this unfortunate life circumstance.

Brooke will need someone of her own to confide in and the most logical candidate is Hope.

Hope initially objected to her father Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) romance with Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown). But watching Eric die may change her perspective and make her realize that people should grab all the joy, love , and happiness they can get.

Hope could realize that she doesn’t want to waste time being angry with her father, leading her to put aside her enmity for Sheila. In other words, Hope will try to be the bigger person and support her dad’s choice.

B&B Spoilers – Hope Logan’s Dilemma

When Deacon informs Hope that he and Sheila are engaged he likely will ask for her blessing.
Hope will be conflicted but perhaps agree to tolerate Sheila for Deacon’s sake.

Deacon would be over the moon if Hope gave him her blessing, and convinced John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) to do the same.
