B&B Spoilers: Finn’s Secret, Steffy’s Struggles-Will Sheila Come Between Them?

The Bold and The Beautiful (B&B) spoilers and updates tease that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) is keeping secrets and Steffy Forrester-Finnegan (Jacqueline Macinness Wood) is struggling. Will Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) and Finn’s unexpected bond with her come between Finn and Steffy?

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Unexpected Reaction

Finn had a very unexpected reaction when Sheila wanted a hug-it could have perhaps been understood if she was facing the death penalty and had been given a guilty verdict.

Compassion is part and parcel of being a doctor, and that is what Finn is – he said he was treating her like any other patient when he checked her out pretrial. But something happened between them later-it was like a mother-child bond formed later in life, like thirty-something years later; Finn doesn’t understand it and is keeping it secret.

It’s not that Finn is intentionally trying to deceive Steffy or anyone else about this unexpected bond, he just doesn’t want to scare anyone. Besides, how can he be honest with Steffy when he knows she can’t handle it-she’s downright paranoid about Sheila being loose!

B & B Spoilers – Someone Caught It On Camera

Neither Finn nor Steffy, let alone Sheila know that someone caught that hug on camera-namely, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and he told his brother. Again, Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) reacted to the cell phone video as well and couldn’t believe what he was seeing, although he thought there had to be an explanation.

He again warned Liam not to overreact, thinking he was transferring his upset over his own impending divorce to Finn and Steffy. But what is going to be the straw that breaks this marriage camel’s back is if Liam determines to warn Steffy that her husband must be plotting with his mother. That is exactly how Liam is acting and what Wyatt is telling him not to take too far.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – No Lies, Total Honesty?

The one thing that has kept Finn and Steffy together through all the trials they’ve endured is their commitment to no lies and total honesty.

It was difficult for Steffy to admit she’d had a drunken night of love with Liam that may have created Hayes Finnegan (Iliana and Vienna Norris) but Finn forgave her. He would have accepted the child whether it was his or not, but luckily he did turn out to be his; it may be that acceptance that makes him accept Sheila.

Finn would find it very difficult to share his torn feelings over his mother and their bond out of nowhere with Steffy. It would be a divisive force as much as the lie itself should she find out from someone other than him-can this marriage survive?
