B&B Spoilers: Finn Does Not Share Li’s Opinion About Luna – But He’s Missing The Whole Story

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers document that John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) did not recognize his cousin.

Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) was forced to tell him who she was after her new love, RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman), summoned Finn through text.

All went well with Finn and Luna. He was happy to see the cousin who was a child when he last saw her.

Luna was not happy to also learn that RJ contacted Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda), who arrived shortly after Finn left the office at Forrester Creations which is supposed to be used for design and business.

Viewers and RJ learned that Luna grew up knowing that her mother and Finn’s mother did not mesh. But Li’s details centered on Poppy (Roma Park) creating a scandal at the hospital where they worked.

As the soapy story went, Li helped Poppy to get a job at the hospital where she was serving as a doctor. Another doctor, who was married, became involved with Poppy, which ruined his reputation and made Li look bad through association and because she referred the hire.

RJ wondered why Li would take that ancient situation and choose to believe that gave her the right to usurp Forrester Creations’ staffing decisions.

Finn quickly saw what RJ’s defense of Luna and his effusive praise of her few-week internship experience meant. RJ clearly is fond of Luna, with his interest going well beyond her work performance.

It was a smart move to try and nip Luna’s concerns in the bud by enlisting Finn’s help and speaking directly to Li, who did not appear willing to budge an inch.

Of course, RJ is not the decision-maker at FC. As he has seen, Eric Forrester (John McCook) wants to reassert control over Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). But RJ will likely speak to his grandfather and father to cover his bases.

Novlan’s character needs something to do while Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is away in Europe.

Problems with his birth mother, Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown), can only take up so much plot space.

So, it is interesting to expand Finn’s backstory in this way. Doing so introduces a new, likable character who also is synced to the Forrester family on B&B.
