According to B&B spoilers, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) wasn’t necessarily wrong to drag his feet.  They have no idea what Eric’s recovery will look like or if he will even recover.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers hint that Eric’s recovery will be a lengthy one, and he may spend a lengthy amount of time in rehab learning how to walk and talk all over again.

Rumor has it Eric may even experience amnesia when he comes to and have no idea who the Forrester Family is or why they are all gathered around him.

Imagine fighting tooth and nail to have your husband save your grandfather’s life, only to have him wake up in the hospital and have no idea who you are.  Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood is going to be devastated.

Or what if his amnesia is dated?  It would be pure soap opera magic if Eric Forrester wakes up and thinks he is still married to Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang). Would Ridge take another loss to keep his dying dad happy and make Brooke go along with it?
