B&B Spoilers: Douglas’ Custody Battle Aftermath – Why Douglas Chose Steffy Over Parents

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will feel blindsided by Douglas Forrester’s (Henry Joseph Samiri) decision on where he wants to live.

Thomas and Hope assumed Douglas would pick one of their houses. However, the boy surprised everyone, including the judge, when he picked Steffy instead.

It isn’t a surprise that he picked Steffy, but it was jolting that he decided not to live with his parents. He has a bond with his aunt, and she was the one who exposed his father’s CPS scheme. She felt horrible that her brother put his son in the position of keeping the CPS call a secret.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Douglas Asked Steffy If He Can Live With Her

On Friday’s (February 10) show, Douglas steps in front of Steffy’s chair and tells her that he wants to live with her “if she’ll have him.” Steffy is obviously shocked by her nephew’s decision and doesn’t immediately answer him.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers state that Steffy will tell Douglas he’s welcomed in her home on Monday, February 13. She will let John ‘Finn’ Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) know that Douglas will move into their home immediately.

Steffy will tell Douglas she will follow his lead on what he needs from her. She wants him to feel safe and happy in her home, so if something bothers him, he can talk to her or Uncle Finn.

B&B Spoilers– Hope Logan And Thomas Forrester Scramble As Douglas’ Forrester Decision Was Unexpected

Thomas assumed that Douglas would pick Hope’s house. He knows that Douglas loves Hope and needs her in his life. He knew that his mistakes greatly impacted Douglas, so he was prepared to lose custody of Douglas. He wasn’t expecting to lose his son to Steffy.

Hope, however, will feel blindsided by Douglas’ decision. He told her and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) the night before that he would choose her. However, he changed his mind when he saw his Aunt Steffy sitting with his dad.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Hope will struggle to accept Douglas’ decision and worry that she could face difficulties seeing her son in Steffy’s care. However, Steffy reassures Hope and Thomas that she will ensure Douglas stays in their lives. She empathizes that everyone needs to follow Douglas’ lead and allow him to dictate how they move forward with visitation.
