B&B Spoilers: Don Diamont Weighs In On Bill’s Takedown Sheila Motivation

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal Bill doubling down on his alleged love for Sheila and Sheila still confused about what to do — and about what is really going on here.

For months, fans wondered why on Earth Dollar Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) was suddenly in love with Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown). It came out of nowhere and made absolutely no sense whatsoever, but Bill was insistent that he was a changed man and Sheila was a changed woman and she was the one for him.

It also seems to make very little sense that he would be working with the FBI and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) to bring Sheila down and make sure she ended up behind bars for good. Apparently, all the charges that were already against her were not enough for the authorities despite the fact that two of those charges were attempted murder.

Now, Bill has resorted to proposing marriage to Sheila in the hopes of getting her to confess to more crimes, like actual murder crimes. Sheila is thrilled to be loved but she also knows this has to be too good to be true. She even asks Bill what is really going on and he keeps on with this act that is making him sick.

B&B Spoilers – How Is Bill Spencer Even Doing This?

So, what has motivated Bill to do what he is doing, as working with both Ridge and the government is as out-of-character for Bill as really being in love with Sheila is? And how will this odd friendship with Ridge develop from here?

“They are archrivals, yet they’ve come together for this common goal,” Don Diamont said in the April 7, 2023, issue of Soap Opera Digest. “I think what you will find in this is a begrudging respect that develops for Bill. Ridge is his only link to the outside world, so he has to learn on him.

Ridge is the one person who knows what Bill is going through, so there becomes a friendship and an alliance.” Diamont also admitted that Bill took a lot of risk for what he believes is a noble cause. “Bill has put his life on the line for this and risked all of his relationships…so he’s thinking it better be worth it.”
