B&B Spoilers: Deacon’s Love Persists – Prison Wedding With Sheila?

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) had a hard time repressing his feelings after Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) forced herself into his apartment and heart last year.

One of the more inspired pairings in recent years happened after a building friendship played out between Deacon and the woman who made his skin crawl. That was one of the first lines Kanan’s character offered to Sheila when she first targeted him as a confidant.

B&B is the last remaining half-hour steamer, which means it has a short cast list. There are only so many couple opportunities, with the pairing of Deacon and Sheila becoming one of them. Major kudos to TPTB for doing so.

Deacon and Sheila often reflected on their times together. The romantic dinner he prepared for Sheila, her retro nurse outfit costume on Halloween, and her red-wigged Lena getup were just some of many memorable moments.

The humanization of Sheila happened because Brown’s character was written into what became a relationship with a far more mature version of Kanan’s character than was seen in the past.

He did not initially recognize the depth of their commonalities. But Sheila recognized their potential and stayed pushed it.

B&B Spoilers – Deacon Sharpe Is A Better Man

Deacon’s pursuit of redemption, post-parole, can be seen from a few angles.

Corresponding with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) from prison kept Deacon motivated. His goal was to be released and be the type of father Hope deserved.

He achieved that goal quickly but failed to reconcile with Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang). That opened the door to Sheila, who knew Brooke had the power to keep Deacon from her.

Deacon’s bond with Sheila was about kindness. He felt sorry for her and, in his mind, providing a safe harbor for a friend in need.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Sheila Carter’s Story Can Continue

One way to keep Sheila in the story would be to keep her in contact with the outside world. Two people can plausibly make that happen.

The first is her son, John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), who wants nothing to do with his mother. So, unless there is an unrealistic change of heart, Finn will likely not be visiting Sheila on a regular basis.

But Deacon loves Sheila. The idea of them marrying is not far-fetched after all they went through and now mean to each other on B&B.
