Bill’s decision to put his sword necklace back on is not about protecting himself from Sheila. Instead, Bill seemingly sees that as protection against their combined enemies, of which there are many.
The lives of the Finnegan, Forrester and Logan families are dramatically impacted. Bill’s sons and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) must cope with this stunning development.
Sheila could care less about the suffering she created in her oldest known child’s life. John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) received a frantic call from his wife. He somehow determined that Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and his mother were in the alley at Il Giardino.
Finn was shocked to see Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) pointing a gun at Steffy. Then, as he stepped in front of his wife, Sheila pulled the trigger because she was in a demented fever dream.
Indeed, Sheila did not intend to shoot Finn. She wanted to kill Steffy. That was proven when Sheila aimed the gun at Steffy a second time to prevent her daughter-in-law and the mother of one of her grandchildren from calling for help. Brown’s character pulled the trigger, made the scene look like a robbery, and ran off because cowards do not care.
Bill knows that people are angry because he is with Sheila. But that is part of his intent.
Diamont’s character was hurt when Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Katie Logan (Heather Tom) rejected his reconciliation pleas. He worked on Brooke for months to no avail. The effort with Katie stretched for years.
So, being rejected by Brooke, Katie and Steffy, following the Forrester mansion cavort in soapy years past, Bill is using Sheila to teach those women and others a lesson Dollar Bill style.
Few on either side of the screen, if anyone, will be shocked if something happens to Bill, Sheila, or both. These villains made themselves targets through their actions across daytime.
Steffy is motivated by rage. Taylor believes she needs to defend her family. The same is true of Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), who also has a unique distaste for Bill.
Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) survived Sheila’s attack and bonded with Bill. That puts Matsuda’s character in a unique position.
Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) is in a wild card position, with family redemption becoming possible if he defeats one of both of his family’s enemies.
The Spencer boys could be targeted by Sheila if she believes Bill’s oldest sons are a threat to her becoming the lady of the Spencer mansion. Of course, other characters have it in for Bill and Sheila, with this open storyline being supercharged on B&B.
