B&B Spoilers: Compromise Remains Possible Between Thomas And Hope

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Douglas Forrester’s (Henry Joseph Samiri) surprise pick may not project the future. While he opted against staying in the cabin with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) or going back to Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), Douglas’ decision fell outside of the parameters Judge Gomez (Jill Remez) set.

Walking to Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Douglas made what he felt was a compromise choice. Douglas did not want his adoptive mother or Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) to feel rejected. Saimiri’s character also did not want to shut out his father.

By choosing Steffy, Douglas may feel he remains connected to Thomas and Hope. Steffy is his aunt through his dad, and Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras Mckinlay), is linked to Hope through Liam.

An early surprise occurred when Thomas arrived, late at night, at the cliff house. He did not stay long in asking his sister if she would stand for him as a witness at the hearing scheduled for the next day.

Steffy’s agreement to do so affirmed that her rancor regarding the Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) frame was lessening. Thomas is her brother, she loves him, and family loyalty matters.

So, Wood’s character was not written into the judge’s chambers merely to stand up for her brother. No, it allowed Douglas to possibly be the person who shifts the plot once again.

B&B Spoilers – Hope Spencer Has More Than One Child

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers show Hope and Liam endured what seemed like a tragic loss. But their daughter, Beth Spencer (Jordyn Lynn Ariza), did not die at birth, as Reese Buckingham (Wayne Brady) falsely claimed.

Thomas eventually came to learn that Beth was alive. But he refused to tell Hope that information. Douglas played a crucial role in that storyline, as he learned by overhearing his father that Beth was alive and ensured Liam knew that was true.

It is amazing that Hope even speaks to Thomas after that incident. Douglas would seem inclined to want to cling to that stable force in his life. But he also loves his father, despite his many flaws.

The best part of Thomas is Douglas, who knows that his father loves him.

The next chapter of this storyline will be intriguing. Time can allow a potential compromise that does not give full custody to Hope or Thomas. Legally established shared custody, as opposed to the agreement Thomas and Hope loosely established, would seem fair.

Thomas gave Douglas too much responsibility. But maybe that choice will become the bridge to a better outcome for all involved, including Thomas, on B&B.
