Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) knew it was risky to promote her brother’s return to Forrester Creations. She did so shortly after he was unceremoniously fired by the Board of Directors.

Wood sternly told Thomas that she would be watching him very closely, and if he crossed the line with Hope or anyone, even once, he would be gone. Thomas was deeply grateful to return and took Steffy’s warning seriously.

But Thomas’ behavior has not been a problem. He has worked hard and constantly reinforces how sorry he was for what happened in the past, regarding Hope and what he did to her mother, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang).

Steffy was surprised the first time she saw Hope appearing to flirt with Thomas. She tried to shake it off or give the head of HFTF the benefit of the doubt.

But sure enough, Hope’s solicitous efforts continued. It was as though she could not control herself when Thomas was in her presence.

As the co-Chief Executive Officer of FC, Steffy must keep the company and its key players on track. So, she had no problem confronting Hope, who denied that anything was happening.

Thomas is used to being in the spotlight. It seemed his penchant for misdeeds also created an addiction to being the center of attention, which included being the source of many problems.

But Hope is not doing anything intentional toward Thomas because she wants to stir trouble. Instead, her heart is conflicted.

She felt many things for Thomas in the past. Mostly, she felt sorry for him. But now Hope feels admiration, and that is causing her to put a positive spotlight on Thomas.

The heat will be on Hope if she can not control the romantic thoughts she has been having. Steffy will only tolerate what has been happening for so long and will likely side with her brother if the boom needs to be lowered on B&B.
