She wanted to stop by Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) new digs and thank him for reforming his life. Viewers know the odds of Brooke wanting to do so and then discovering the scene she happened upon was impossibly long yet hit.

Viewers last saw Thomas living at Paris’ place. They likely assumed that could become a new pairing as Paris offered effusive praise about Thomas’ physical appearance on multiple occasions, even goading Hope into admitting that she found him to be appealing.

But nothing developed with Paris and Thomas found a place of his own at some point after being restored as Hope for the Future’s lead designer. The fans recognized the setup as soon as Hope walked into his condominium. It was the setting where they would be together, presumably in secret.

There are times when TPTB drag a storyline. Plenty of examples abound.

While the lead-in to Hope being with Thomas has been building for months, their realized connection has played out in a handful of episodes. They could have plausibly kept their connection a secret, at least through the bulk of the summer but that was not to be.

So, viewers can ask why Thomas’ door did not lock after he let Hope in. That allowed Brooke to push into his bachelor pad, a still-apt nickname, see Hope’s work identification badge, wedding and engagement rings, and bolt upstairs to Thomas’ bedroom.

Readers of this comprehensive soap site know that Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy Forrester Finnegan) is pregnant. So, the actor has used big purses and been shown under blankets in increasing scenes.

Steffy was under comfortable cover with her husband discussing Hope and Thomas in the living room at the cliff house. She told John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) something that nailed this new arc for Noelle’s character on the head. Yes, Hope is a Logan on B&B.
