RJ seems unlikely to avoid conflict. He is coming off a multi-year high, having become an influencer and built his brand. Brand being a cliched term that arguably boils down to self-promotion.

Ridge told his youngest son that they are artists. He wants RJ to bring what he has been doing online to Forrester Creations. RJ appeared to degrade the fashion industry when volunteering his feelings about it.

Young RJ would have never been able to travel the world without his grandfather having co-founded FC with Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery). Ridge’s place in the company, along with his mother’s, also set the soapy stage for RJ to have the financial freedom to traipse around the globe as followers fund his existence.

Hope has projected increasing thoughts she never had before. She does not know why she is developing feelings for Thomas. Possibly, she repressed them while he was constantly showering her with attention in recent years.

RJ’s return underscores another bond between Hope and Thomas. They share him as a brother.

It would seem that RJ will be alerted to Hope’s growing fascination with Thomas. That intriguing aspect fits nicely into this layered storyline on B&B.
