While on Bold Live, actress Krista Allen, who plays Taylor Hayes on the hit CBS soap, admitted that there’s a real reason why her character and Brooke Logan have been getting so close lately. She said, “It’s all because of Ridge. I’m having so much fun.”

Katherine Kelly Lang, who plays Brooke, added, “When was the last time Brooke had a friend? Oh my gosh, a long time, for sure. So, it’s nice for Brooke to have a friend in Taylor. We’re having fun. Krista makes me laugh all the time.”

But when asked if Brooke and Taylor’s friendship has formed too quickly, Katherine doesn’t think that’s the case at all. She said that the two characters have “known each other forever and gone through so much together. There were times [in the past] when we would come together and understand each other and become friends… but it didn’t last long. I’m hoping this lasts longer.”

Krista added, “It’s coming from such a deep level with both of us. It was the putting ourselves first that we both realized we had been against each other for so long and Ridge was right in the middle. And we were both looking at each other going, ‘Wait a second, maybe we’re not the problem.’”
