B&B Spoilers: Brooke And Ridge Worry About Eric’s Future, Will He Be Himself?

The Bold and The Beautiful spoilers and updates tease Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) worry about Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) future.

Now that he’s woken up, he seems to be confused and they worry about if he’ll ever be himself again?

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Merry Christmas?

Ridge, Brooke, and Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) as well as Steffy Forrester-Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) were all thrilled when Eric awoke and said “Merry Christmas”.

He seemed confused and like he didn’t recognize any of them-John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) didn’t seem concerned.

He was breathing on his own and cognizant, though a little foggy, about his surroundings and recognized Christmas decorations in his room and that was a huge thing.

Brooke and Ridge, while relieved and happy that Eric’s now breathing on his own, can’t help but worry about his future. Will he be himself, will he be able to go back to designing, or will he have certain deficits?

B & B Spoilers – Will Eric Forrester Retire Or Want To Stay CEO?

Another thing they are worried about is if he will retire or slow down, or want to stay fully in charge as the corporate executive officer, running the company?

Eric had slowed down somewhat and let others such as Ridge and Steffy take over some of the everyday duties.

It was only when he found out he was dying that he felt he had to prove something to himself and others in the company and was relevant.

It could take a very long time for Eric to fully recover from the physical and mental ordeal he’s been through, even if the experimental procedures prove successful.

Will he be patient enough with himself for his body and mind to take the time it needs to heal, or will he try to push himself to rush the process?

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – He’s Alive Now, But Will He Stay That Way?

Eric’s alive now, but the recovery time could be substantial-will he stay that way, or could his body fail and reject the transplant he received?

Will all of this have been for nothing, with his dying anyway in the end regardless of how hard everyone’s been fighting for him?

It’s difficult for Brooke and Ridge especially to be patient, but just Eric waking up and being able to say “Merry Christmas” is a major milestone in his recovery.

It may be quite a while before the treatments have proven themselves to be cures. Until then, everyone, including Eric himself, will just have to be patient.
