There is something unusual about TPTB plucking a side character, like Mike Guthrie (Ken Hanes), to play another crucial part in the latest Sheila saga.

Devoted viewers know that Mike helped Sheila many times before. They understand that using Hanes sporadically recurring character now, after not seeing Hanes in many years, was a useful plot device.

Understandably, Mike could take the fall for Sheila because he is in love with her. But spending a significant amount of time on retrospective scenes between these characters after Sheila was released from jail and while Mike was returned to his cell was intriguing.

B&B Spoilers – Sheila Carter Pledges Loyalty

Sheila appears to mean what she told Bill. She will be his forever, based on the life-altering actions he took on her behalf.

She understands Bill is sacrificing personal connections to create a new life with her. Brown’s character also intends to reestablish bonds with Finn, Steffy, and Hayes Forrester Finnegan (Iliana and Vienna Norris).

While Sheila likely will be loyal to Bill, her pattern is chaotic. She left Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) apartment and recklessly went to the cliff house on more than one occasion. So, Sheila will not live inside Bill’s mansion for the rest of her soapy life.

Bill is a proud man. Katie Logan (Heather Tom) had not seen him project that level of vulnerability, and his recent demeanor was different than she had seen before.

Sheila’s reputation and the personal price Bill had to pay to form a dark alliance with her will stir the daytime pot indefinitely. But there likely will come a day when Sheila goes her way and will go against what Dollar Bill wants.

Fans know Bill has become the person most capable of stopping Sheila forever on B&B.
