They certainly just can’t win this year, now can they? There’s a new report that suggests Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are dealing with even more bad luck. That’s because there’s a very good chance that the current WGA & SAG strikes are affecting their future projects with Netflix. Here’s what you need to know.

According to a new report, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Netflix projects might have to be put on hold for now. The Duke of Sussex was set to travel to Africa to film a new documentary but Netflix has pressed the pause button on that project for the meantime.

Meghan’s docuseries on maternal health and giving birth in America is also stalled for now, too. As long as the strikes continue, Harry and Meghan will have to take a break from their work.

Of course, many royal fans and critics alike have had a lot to say about the matter on social media. Some have even commented with, “I cannot imagine Harry producing or contemplating any activities that would be in defiance of the strike. Sure Harry could but he won’t.

Another critic wrote, “If Meghan is showing solidarity with her (former?) union, she will not be proceeding until a deal for both SAG and the WGA is in place.

Harry would have fewer issues since he is not a member of either union and as long as he doesn’t use writers to create the structure for and narration for his projects (how would that be possible?), he wouldn’t be breaking rules if he proceeded. But it would suck.”
