Are General Hospital BFFs Josslyn Jacks And Trina Robinson Growing Apart?

There have been many epic friendships on General Hospital through the years. Luke and Robert, Brenda and Robin, Maxie and Lulu, Carly and Jason, and the fabulous foursome of Lucky, Elizabeth, Nikolas, and Emily all come to mind.

One of the sweetest and most sincere friendships on GH is between Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali). Now that the girls are growing up, can they be drifting apart?

The early years of Josslyn Jacks and Trina Robinson

Josslyn is basically a legacy GH character because her parents are Carly Spencer Laura Wright) and Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher). She has been on the soap since birth but Eden McCoy stepped into the role in 2015.

Trina became a friend of Joss when they were in high school. The two were part of the teen foursome which also included Oscar Nero (Garren Stitt) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton). Trina was a great support when Oscar went through cancer and eventually died.

When Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) came to town, Joss and Trina presented a united front when she proved to be a troublemaker. No matter what Esme tried to do, the besties always had each other’s backs. When she recorded Cam and Joss having sex and framed Trina for it, the girls never doubted each other.

They are the meaning of true friends.

Josslyn and Trina are growing and changing

The girls graduated high school and have moved on to college, where they are roommates.

Life is changing for them both. The Esme drama is over, Joss broke up with Cam, and he
left for California.

Trina is focused on who her biological father is while Joss is worried about her new sister-in-law Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen).

The bffs are still there for each other, but their friendship may be growing and changing. This is typical for any relationship but there may be other issues that could tear them apart.

Dex Heller and Spencer Cassadine

Joss and Trina are moving past teenage love and on to adult relationships.

Trina has had feelings for Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) for a long time, and now it looks like they are very serious about each other. Now that Esme is out of the picture, and their adventure in Greenland is over, Spencer and Trina are falling in love. All is good for the couple unless Trina’s mom is successful in splitting them up.

Josslyn broke up with Cam because she had feelings for bad boy Dex Heller (Evan Hofer). She fell hard for him, and he for her, but Dex comes with a lot of drama. The guy was trying to take down mob boss Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and is now in danger. Carly warned her daughter about guys like Dex!

The besties’ boyfriends do not like each other. At all. Spencer comes for Dex every time he sees him and makes it clear that he doesn’t think he is good enough for Joss.

The Cassadine heir does not let up on Dex and the situation is going to get out of hand. This is causing Joss to be angry with Trina’s boyfriend.

So far, Trina is not defending Spencer and gets upset with him every time he causes trouble. That may change. She loves Spencer and he may be able to sway her to his side.

If the boys cannot get along it just may cause friction between the besties. Whatever happens, this friendship will hopefully remain strong.
