America’s Got Talent Slammed For Nudity Act

It’s not something confined to America’s Got Talent (AGT), but one day, the world woke up, looked at the Western entertainment industry, and noticed that everyone seems to want to take their clothes off. This week, when people saw an act involving only little bats or paddles to protect modesty, the audience slammed the popular show for it.

America’s Got Talent – Gets The Audience Unhappy

The talent show certainly helped to launch some very entertaining people into the stage and some of them went on and landed Las Vegas residencies. One particular act, the Willis Family went on and landed their own TLC show. However, that was quickly taken off the air when a relative was accused of incest and other crimes.

America’s Got Talent usually keeps things clean and fun, and it’s a popular show for families to watch together. However, some criticism went the way of the producers because a clip that played out on social media showed that three men went completely naked except for three little hand-held bats or paddles to hide their wobbly bits.

America’s Got Talent – The Offending Nudity Act

According to The Sun, the act involved “Bomba!” It’s part of “a modern comic circus show, [and is] the creation of three Israeli circus artists, Amit, Noam & Yaron.” Actually, it seemed that the three men were very good at what they did. But, people didn’t like it for a family show. In the act, a ball was passed from person to person or dropped on the floor, and the idea was to keep it going without allowing any offensive parts to show.

Those folks who watched the America’s Got Talent act seemed unhappy. One follower commented, “This should not be allowed on tv, everything is so disgusting these days no one has any self respect!”

They were not alone, and more irate comments arrived. Here is one of them: “Can’t believe this sh-t was voted through. The show has gone downhill since the beginning.”

America’s Got Talent – Dislike Button Needed

Several people said that America’s Got Talent needs a “dislike button.” One of them wrote, “Use Dislike Button for this performance.”

The audience on YouTube seemed less angry about it. There, people seem to appreciate the humor and the talent. Actually, there is a dislike button there but so far, only one person used it. A viewer wrote, “I was thinking that it takes a lot of courage and self-confidence to do this act . . . and then they mooned everyone. Well, I guess they have the courage!!”
