American Pickers – Mike Wolfe & Frank Fritz’s Emotional Reunion

The American Pickers stars were involved in a three-year-long feud. Some fans feel that Mike Wolfe was responsible for Frank Fritz’s firing from the History Channel series. He got his younger brother, Robbie, to co-host the show with him. Frank suffered a stroke in July 2022 and has been recovering ever since.

His friend found him on the floor of his Iowa home. Frank caught up with Mike over the Memorial Day weekend. A mutual friend made their reunion possible. That friend spoke out in an interview with The Quad-City Times. They denied the claims that the two were involved in a years-long feud.

“This was not a feud between Mike and Frank at all. They were not feuding. They needed separation to appreciate each other,” the friend of the former American Picker co-stars told The Quad-City Times.

Things only got tense between the two men. The intense filming schedule took a toll on their friendship and work relationship. Their friend explained that “working 10-hour days, seven days a week with your best friend” can damper anyone’s relationship. She told the local newspaper that both of them were emotional during their surprise reunion.

American Pickers – Feud Quashed

Both Mike and Frank “were both in tears” when they met each other. They recounted memories from their career. Mike talked about a time when they appeared on David Letterman and “how nervous” both of them were during that time. He also assured Frank that he was irreplaceable on American Pickers.

It was because of Frank’s personality that the two worked well together. Their friend arranged their reunion after Frank admitted that he wanted to speak with Mike. She reached out to him on Mother’s Day and their arrangements were made shortly after. The two American Pickers cast members “talked about old times” and “the impact they had on the world.”
