Alana Honey Boo Boo Thompson In Car With Boyfriend Dralin Carswell When He Was Arrested For DUI

Once again Alana “Honey Boo Boo’s boyfriend Dralin Carswell finds himself in a squabble with the authorities. The 21-year-old boyfriend of the “Toddlers & Tiaras” alum was arrested on Tuesday, February 28 for driving under the influence of marijuana. With him in the car on that fateful day was his girlfriend Alana, and another guy named Julius Malik Devon Williams.

Dralin spent his last day of February, and his first day of March in custody; he spent two days in Monroe County jail. According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s office, Dralin was later released on a $25,000 bond.

Dralin’s charges include driving under the influence of marijuana, failure to maintain lane, following too closely, driving with a suspended license and speeding, and fleeing and attempting to evade police.—Per Intouch.

According to reports from Intouch, Dralin was speeding at 75 mph when he was chased down by the police. Although he nearly ran into an oncoming vehicle it still didn’t deter him. Dralin went on to ignore the emergency flashlight and sirens made by the police vehicle in hot pursuit of him.

It took the police making some kind of maneuver to force Dralin to stop—that was of course, after his car spun off. It was reported that when the police approached Dralin’s vehicle they discovered the 17-year-old TLC star with another passenger Julius in the car.

After running a check at Dralin’s license it was discovered that his license was suspended, and that Julius had several outstanding warrants for his arrest. Although Alana wasn’t charged with anything, she is still a witness to the case.

According to “The U.S. SUN,” Dralin Carswell was arrested for statutory rape in 2019 when he was 18 years old. The mother of his victim came to the police to report that Dralin raped her 15-year-old daughter.

When the girl in question was interrogated by the police, she said it wasn’t rape but consensual, that she and Dralin had agreed to meet at her house so they could have sex.

When Dralin was interrogated, he claimed to be dating the girl and that they had agreed to meet at her house but he didn’t go, rather he stayed with his friends all day.

The said friends gave a different report saying they had dropped Dralin off at the girl’s place and picked him up an hour later, with Dralin telling him to drive quickly because the girl’s mom caught him in the house.

Dralin was charged with Statutory rape but the case was dismissed after Dralin completed a pretrial diversion program, and the assistant district attorney said, “Based on the evidence we didn’t feel like we could prove the statutory rape but could prove making a false statement.”
