In June 2022 Todd and Julie Chrisley were found guilty of tax evasion and wire fraud. Basically the Southern charmers pulled a Theresa and Joe Guidici. However, Theresa and Joe had way better lawyers, or Todd and Julie stole way more money. The judge did not go easy on the reality TV stars. Todd is currently serving a 12 year sentence, and Julie Chrisley is serving 7 years in federal prison.
Abby Lee Miller recently revealed that she reached out to Todd Chrisley after he received his sentencing. The Dance Mom star tried to help Todd out and give him some advice since she also did a little jail time because of the IRS, however she only was behind bars for seven months.
According to Abby, Todd Chrisley does not have what it takes to make it in the pen. Is this really breaking news to anyone who ever watched an episode of Chrisley Knows Best? The dance teacher told Entertainment Tonight, “I said, ‘Be careful. If they want you, they’re going to get you. Miller went on to describe Todd Chrisley as “very bougie,” adding, “He is not going to be able to handle the soap and the towels… I think he’ll do some trade outs. There’s a way to survive in there.”
If Todd and Julie Chrisley are on their best behavior they may be able to get some time off their sentencing or be eligible for early supervised releases. Regardless of how this all plays out, the Chrisley Knows Best stars are in for the long haul and probably should have taken a few tips from their felonious pal Abby Lee Miller.
