90 Day: The Last Resort Teaser: Yara Reveals Shocking Secret To Jovi

90 Day: The Last Resort is already heating up with shocking admissions and Monday’s episode is no exception.

In a teaser clip released by 90 Day Fiancé, Yara Zaya opens up to make a shocking admission to her husband, Jovi Dufren. Needless to say, the whole group was shocked, including Angela, Big Ed and Liz and Kalani and Asuelu.

Yara Zaya shocks husband Jovi Dufren on 90 Day: The Last Resort

Judging from social media, it always looks like Yara Zaya and Jovi Dufren are blissfully happy while taking one vacation after another.

However, there is a reason why the couple is starring in the latest 90 Day Fiancé spinoff, The Last Resort.

In a teaser clip for Monday’s episode, we see Yara totally shock Jovi with a secret she has been hiding from him relating to their family planning.

Fans have watched their romantic journey from the moment Yara arrived in New Orleans, and while their relationship was rocky at first, they stuck together and had a daughter, Mylah.

Now Yara and Jovi are one of the five couples starring in the new 90 Day Fiancé spinoff, appropriately called 90 Day: The Last Resort.

Here, they join Angela and Michael, Big Ed and Liz, Kalani and Asuelu and Molly and Kelly on a journey to fix their relationship.

The show, which features three professional therapists, gets the couples together for a group therapy session where Yara suddenly gets emotional, before revealing shocking details to Jovi.

Yara and Jovi family planning

Zaya and Dufren welcomed their first baby, Mylah in September 2020 and Jovi is itching to have more children. This made Yara’s statement all the more shocking.

While clearly holding back tears, Yara takes a deep breath and opens up to Jovi, saying:

So you know how you(‘re) always talking (about) hav(ing) a second baby and I always tell you I’m not ready, it’s just not the time? And I’ve been hiding from you I’ve been taking birth control and I didn’t tell you about that.

It is clear that Dufren is sad and disappointed by her statement and takes a moment before responding to Zaya, saying:

But why would you not tell me that? I feel like that’s something we should discuss instead of you going behind my back to do it.

At this point in the teaser trailer, Kalani pipes up as she listens to Yara and Jovi’s exchange. She tells Jovi, “She should do whatever she wants with her body.”

‘Better for you to be mad’

Yara goes on to explain to Jovi why she felt she needed to hide the fact that she has been on birth control without telling him.

“I was just thinking that it’s better for you (to) be mad at me than (me getting pregnant) and bring(ing) the baby to the world (into this) (un)healthy situation.”

However, after hearing the 90 Day Fiancé star’s explanation, Jovi still doesn’t understand why she hid such important information from him.

“But like you think that I’m gonna [sic] try to get you pregnant without like having that plan together?” he asks Yara, to which she responds:

Yeah, because that’s what you say, that you wanna [sic] have a baby.

Jovi then explains to Yara, “I do wanna [sic] have a baby but I’m not gonna [sic] intentionally get you pregnant when you don’t wanna [sic] be pregnant.”

Meanwhile, Yara responds, saying, “I know you, right? If you want something, you’re gonna [sic] go to the end ’til you get it.”

90 Day: The Last Resort Yara ‘blindsided’ Jovi

Talking to the cameras, Yara and Jovi once again discuss the situation.

“I know I can be adamant about what I want and maybe a little pushy sometimes, but I really feel like you blindsided me and you shouldn’t have done this in front of everyone,” Jovi says.

”We should’ve done this in a private session with just meeting the therapist. You need to be more considerate.”

However, Yara reminds him that it is group therapy, saying, “(It’s not) blindsiding you. It’s a group therapy, that’s the whole point of the therapy.”
